In year 2001, Torishima Pump Mfg. Co. Ltd. of Japan established its Engineering and Services company, known as Torishima Global Team Services (TGTS), specifically to serve its thousands of pumps users throughout the world. It developed a program that focuses mainly on enhancing the performance (reduce power consumption) and extending the life span of a wide range of pumps (any brand) and systems. With the use of state-of-the-art monitoring equipment, TGTS engineers can measure vibration, velocity, displacement, acceleration, do laser alignment, on-line dynamic balancing, full fourier transformation analysis, efficiency measurement, reverse engineering and many more. They can bring less efficient machines to their “almost” original conditions through the use of a Yates Meter and a mobile device called Coordinates Measuring Machine (CMM) to get the original machine dimensions.
